A fake Army officer duped a veterinary doctor of Rs 56,000 in an online fraud on the pretext of providing vaccination to 75 German Shepherds of the Army.

The cyber cell unit of the police has registered a case after a complaint was filed by Dr Vanya Vaidhya, a resident of Sector 12, who is doing PhD in Cardiology from PGIMER Chandigarh and is the owner of a pet clinic in Eco City, Mohali.
