SSC JE Exam Date 2023 Out: The Staff Selection Commission has revealed the SSC JE Exam Date through an official notice. The SSC JE 2023 Tier 1 Exam is scheduled to be commenced from 09th to 11th October 2023 and Tier 2 Exam on 04th December 2023. SSC JE is one of the national-level popular exams among aspirants to get core technical jobs in prestigious departments. Through this candidates get recruited in core engineering branches i.e., Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering in various Departments of Central Government including CPWD, MES, BRO, NTRO, etc.

SSC JE 2023 Exam Pattern
SSC JE 2023 Exam will be conducted in two phases. Paper 1 will be of 200 marks and paper 2 will be of 300 marks. Both paper 1 and paper 2 are Multiple Choice Questions. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate in both papers. According to the recent Exam Pattern, candidates appearing for the post of JE (Civil), JE (quantity surveying & contract) should attempt Part A (civil & structural) of papers I & II.
On the other hand, candidates appearing for JE (electrical) need to attempt Part B (electrical) & the candidates appearing for JE (mechanical) need to attempt Part C (mechanical) of Paper I & II.
