Ahead of Oct 1 assembly polls, Haryana Sikh Ekta Dal (HSED) has given a call to organise a grand convention on Sept 8. Haryana Sikh Sammelan will be held in Karnal to serve as a platform in the state “irrespective of factionalism, parties and caste”. HSED has raised several demands before all the political parties “that concern the Sikh community of the state”, said its representatives at a press conference in Chandigarh on Tuesday.
They said jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh, jathedar of Takht Damdama Sahib Giani Harpreet Singh and jathedar of Takht Kesgarh Sahib Giani Sultan Singh are at this event.
