Punjab governor and UT administrator Gulab Chand Kataria on Friday inaugurated the 10th Ins/Out exhibition organised by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
While inaugurating the four-day event, Kataria said increasing pollution levels were becoming a big challenge for the whole country. To deal with this, everyone will have to make efforts. It is the responsibility of all of us to protect the environment. Nature and construction should be linked together. We should take care of the environment and natural resources while constructing buildings, he said.
The UT administrator also said with rapid urbanisation, the importance of architecture was increasing but environmental protection was being left behind.
