A tragic event occurred in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, when a lady killed her 15-month-old baby and subsequently committed suicide because she was upset that her husband had not allowed her to create social media videos. The disastrous conclusion resulted from frequent arguments between her and her husband, who disapproved of her interest.
The Shocking Incident
The spouse, Sumit, reportedly went out with his grandma on Monday to do some work. When he got home that evening, he saw their child’s lifeless body on the floor and his wife Sneha dangling from a ceiling fan. He told the family right away, shocked and upset, and they called the police.
Family’s Allegations
Neetu, Sneha’s mother, disclosed that her daughter enjoyed making reels for social media, which frequently resulted to arguments with her husband. But in order to prevent such confrontations, Sneha had ceased producing reels. According to Shyam, her father, Sumit had been urging Sneha to purchase a car from her relatives. Sumit apparently started harassing his wife when the family rejected, which may have led her to commit this terrible deed.
Police Inquiry
The couple’s continuous arguments have been verified by authorities. They are looking into the matter further and have filed a formal complaint. In addition, Sneha’s father said that Sumit had insisted on a car even on their wedding day, a sign of ongoing marital problems.
