It is once again a pitbull on rampage in Delhi that has brought panic. It was in the Prem Nagar area that the incident took place. A 6 year old boy was playing in the lane when a pitbull belonging to a neighbour jumped and attacked him. The dog started dragging the child brutally on the road. The owner of the dog ran out after witnessing this and attempted to free the boy in the jaws of the dog. Nevertheless, the pitbull would not give way. It got its jaws on the ear of the boy, and could not release it. The child was finally pulled out of the pitbull with a lot of struggle.
Pitbull Bites off the Childs Ear.
The attack had a drastic effect on the child. A half of his right ear was torn off by the dog. The parents of the child with the assistance of neighbours saved the child and took him to the BSA Hospital. Because of his serious condition, he was admitted to a higher centre where he was subsequently transferred to the Safdarjung Hospital where he is already undergoing a treatment. The victim and his father have been recorded by the police and the pitbull owner arrested and charged.

According to the Delhi Police, on 23 November, 5:38 pm, a PCR call was received at the Police station of Prem Nagar. The caller informed that a small child was severely injured by a pitbull and his parents took him to the hospital. In the investigation, the 6-year-old was playing in the lane when a pitbull owned by his neighbour Rajesh Pal attacked him brutally.
