Man kills Co-Worker Over Minor Dispute - Body Thrown into Water Tank

What has come out as a shocking murder case is that a young man has killed his own workmate in the Palghar district of Maharashtra after having a personal dispute and dumped the body into a water tank that was in the company grounds. The accused was arrested by the police within a few hours after the incident.

The police claimed that the event happened on Monday in a company campus located in one of the industrial sectors under the Vasai region. The arrested suspect is known as Asaram Rakesh 27 years old, and the victim was his co-worker Rakesh Singh. They both worked in the same organization.

From an initial probe, it was found that a fight erupted between the accused and the victim over an unspecified matter. The argument went on till Asaram went on to assault his colleague using an iron rod, allegedly in rage. The accused is reported to have disposed the body into a water tank inside the premises of the company after the attack in an effort to cover up the murder.

This incident was revealed when other employees of the company realized that something was wrong. The co-workers promptly alerted the family and the police of the victim. In reaching the location, the police retrieved the body in the water tank and dispatched it to post-mortem tests.

A police officer at Palghar said that they acted as soon as they got the information, and the suspected person was arrested in a few hours.
