'AAP emptied the treasury, yet we will give ₹2500 to women', Delhi CM Rekha Gupta reiterates promise

Rekha Gupta, the new chief minister of Delhi, has charged that the former AAP government left the state treasury empty. She did, however, reiterate her dedication to carrying out the plan to give women ₹2,500 each month.

AAP leader Atishi responded to Rekha Gupta’s accusations by saying that the BJP was given a government that was financially stable. She added that the BJP should concentrate on keeping its commitments rather than coming up with excuses.

Meetings Held in Multiple Phases

The Delhi Assembly’s first session officially began today, February 24. Before this, Rekha Gupta met at the party office with BJP MLAs. Following the meeting, the chief minister announced that the “Mahila Samriddhi Yojana” (Women’s Prosperity Scheme) had been the subject of multiple rounds of talks with officials.

She said, “The previous government has left us in a dire situation,” in response to a question concerning the implementation process. We discovered that the state treasury is empty after discussing the present administration’s financial situation with officials.

BJP Secures Victory in 48 Out of 70 Seats

The AAP’s ten-year administration in Delhi has come to an end as the BJP has regained power after 27 years. The AAP lost power after the BJP won 48 of 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly elections earlier this month.
