Amit Shah Targets TMC in Kolkata, Calls Infiltration a National Security Threat

Amit Shah, a Union Home Minister, who is on a visit to West Bengal, made a scathing attack on the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government in a press conference in Kolkata. According to him, Bengal had become a victim of fear, corruption, and infiltration in the last 15 years. According to Shah, once BJP comes to power in 2026, the infiltrators would be located and sent back one after another, the development would be spurred forward, and the cultural heritage of Bengal would be restored.

Amit Shah has claimed that the border invasion of West Bengal is not a state concern only but a national concern. He underlined that only the BJP, not the TMC, can fulfill this task because the state needs the government that will be able to close the borders of Bengal and secure the culture and safety of the country.

The Home Minister remarked, 14 years ago, Fear and corruption became the name of Bengal. The revitalization of the Bengal pride, culture, and heritage will commence after April 15, 2026, when the BJP will make it the government of Bengal. Our aim will be to create Bengal envisaged by Swami Vivekananda, Bankim Chandrasena Chattopadhyay, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore and Syama Prasad Mukherjee.

He also added that, under the 15 years of TMC reign, the Bengali people have lived in fear and anxiety because of corruption, misgovernance and more so infiltration. We wish to assure the people of Bengal and assure them that under the leadership of the prime minister, Modi that the moment the BJP comes to rule here, the heritage of Bengal will be restored, development will get impetus and welfare of poor will be given priority once the BJP comes to power.

Amit Shah told him, that December 30 is a national holiday. This was the day when Bengal son and one of the great freedom fighters of India, Subhas Chandra Bose hoisted the flag of independent India in port Blair, the first time. It was in most regards a major step towards our struggle of freedom. In a decade later, comparing today with then, the time between December 30 and April is very significant to Bengal.

He also said that there would be a Bengal Assembly election in April. The Bengal people seem to have the resolve of creating a strong regime that is keen on development, heritage and welfare of the poor instead of fear, corruption, misrule and infiltration.
