A South Korean Air Force fighter jet is said to have accidentally dropped some bombs onto residential homes, hurting 15 people, including two critically injured.
The event happened during a military training exercise in Pocheon, around 40 km from Seoul, the capital. Several residences and a church experienced damage owing to the dropped bombs, generating havoc in the region.
Eight 500-pound bombs were unintentionally dropped from KF-16 fighter jets, according to confirmation from the South Korean Air Force. The Air Force issued an official statement expressing remorse for the event and wishing the injured people a speedy recovery.
