Congress MP Deepender Hooda Vows to Implement Old Pension Scheme in Haryana

Congress MP Deepender Hooda on Tuesday said after his party comes to power in Haryana, the old pension scheme (OPS) would be implemented, as demanded by the employees. Deepender claimed that the unified pension scheme (UPS) and the national pension scheme (NPS) were anti-employee. “The UPS is a bigger fraud with the govt employees than the NPS,” said the Rohtak MP.

Deepender, who visited Birohad village in Jhajjar on Tuesday to felicitate Olympics medal winner Aman Sehrawat, said when the NPS was implemented, it was stated to be better than the OPS and now, the UPS was being promoted as a better option. “The truth is that even 10% contribution of the employees will not be received under UPS,” he said.
