The social media has been full of a video that depicts a young man rushing by bike at a very high pace on an expressway, and the other young lady sitting on his lap and embracing him frontally. Surprisingly, both of them are without helmets. Passengers on board of a passing car recorded the video on a cell phone and since then the video has circulated the social media.
The accident happened in Noida- Greater Noida Expressway – the busiest expressway of DelhiNCR. The viral video displays the love couple in some romantic act on a speeding bicycle where traffic regulations are grossly disregarded. Traffic police acted immediately and concededly after the video appeared in the Internet.
The number plate of the bike used is also visible in the video making it easy to trace the vehicle by the authorities. With the spread of the footage, numerous users of social media were alarmed and require the police to take actions at once. To act against this outrage Noida Traffic Police imposed a fine of 53,500 on the owner of the bike CIN under Motor Vehicle Act. The police are still trying to find out the man in the clip.
It is notable that the couple did not only practice indecent acts in the street but also brazenly violated the traffic rules and put their lives in danger- the lives of other people on the road as well. The loss of balance would have caused a serious accident. At present, Noida Traffic Police has issued the fine of 53,500-rupees (about) to the house of the biker.
