Punjab Police, on the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse, organized drug disposal program at ten different locations in Punjab.

Drugs seized will be disposed off in a transparent manner, 83 Kg Heroin, 3557 Kg Opium, 4.5 lakh Tablets/Pills will disposed on the spot.

As per the directions of CM Bhagwant Mann, we have reviewed and adopted a comprehensive strategy of Enforcement, De-addiction, & Prevention to eradicate drugs

Intensifying our strategy on controlling drug supply at Point of Sale at Mohalla & Village level, Police is tracing the forward & backward linkages to break the drug supply chain across the region
