Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (Gmada) will conduct an e-auction of around 49 sites in different sectors of Mohali. A senior officer in Gmada said that the total reserve price of all the sites is Rs 2,024 crore. The e-auction will commence on September 6 at 9am and conclude on September 16 at 1pm.
Potential bidders can send their queries on the e-mail address, helpdesk@gmada.gov.in.The sites being offered include six group housing sites, a hotel site, a nursing home site, nine IT Industrial plots, two commercial chunk sites, besides some in other categories. The sites are situated in phase 8, Eco City-1 and Eco City-II in new Chandigarh and Medicity as well as other places in Mohali.
Major commercial sites are located at the Business Hub center to come up on the vacant site opposite Gmada building. The authority has decided to convert the vacant site on the lines of Sector 17, Chandigarh. Three malls and business centers are already coming up near Gmada and one mall is already operational.
Those interested can visit the e-auction portal, https://puda.e-auctions.in to access details pertaining to sites available. The procedure of registration to participate in the bidding process, payment schedule, size of sites, location etc. will be uploaded on the portal before e-auction begins.
Bidders will have to place bids up and above the reserve price fixed for a particular site. There would be no bar on the number of bids to be placed and bidders can revise their bids multiple times, he added.
The Authority will allot sites to successful bidders on receiving 10% payment of the final bidding price. Possession of sites will be handed over as per terms and conditions of the auction policy, said the Gmada officer.
