Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday said the state govt was “continuously moving forward” by following the path shown by saints and great men and was working for the welfare of the poor.
The govt has started the ‘Sant-Mahapurush Samman and Vichar Prachar-Prasar Yojana’ in Haryana, under which the initiative has been taken to celebrate the birth anniversaries and centenaries of saints and great men, Saini said while addressing the devotees during a religious conference organised on 21st foundation day of Shri Guru Ravidas Dharm Asthan Sirasgarh and 15th martyrdom day of Saint Ramanand, in Ambala district.
Haryana transport minister Aseem Goel was also present in the event. The CM announced to give Rs 21 lakh to Dharm Asthan Sirasgarh, while Goel announced an assistance of Rs 11 lakh. Later, Saini along with Goel also visited the house of Naik Gurpreet Singh, who was martyred recently in the Ladakh region.
