India to Sign ₹63,000 Crore Deal to Buy 26 New Rafale Jets, Strengthening the Navy

According to sources, an agreement between India and France on this deal could be finalised by the end of this month, and India may sign the agreement.

The Indian government is likely to sign a deal with France in the coming days to purchase 26 new Rafale fighter jets. According to information from sources, the deal is expected to be worth over ₹63,000 crore. It is said that India is preparing to acquire these new aircraft to further strengthen its naval power. Sources indicate that the deal between India and France could be agreed upon by the end of this month, and India may proceed with the signing.

Notably, France’s Defence Minister Sébastien Lecornu is scheduled to visit India at the end of this month.
