Leopard Creates Panic at Wedding Ceremony: When a leopard emerged on the LED screen showing the bride, groom, and procession, a wedding party in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, descended into anarchy. The sight of the untamed beast frightened the guests, who started yelling for the bride to leave the hall. The leopard was successfully rescued as a result of the panic that persisted through the night.
The startling event took place at MM Marriage Lawn in the Para neighbourhood of Lucknow. When a visitor named Deepak noticed the leopard on the second story at 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, he became frightened and sprang from the building, hurting himself. The bride fled with her companions while wearing a bulky bridal gown, and the groom fled via a window as the leopard’s unexpected entrance sparked a panic.
A rescue effort was started as soon as the forest department was informed. DFO Sitanshu Pandey and Range Officer Muqaddar Ali were among the team members who made an effort to apprehend the leopard. Officer Ali was hurt when the animal attacked him during the operation. Around 4 AM on Thursday, the leopard was apprehended following an overnight operation. At a nearby hospital, Officer Muqaddar Ali is undergoing treatment.
The forest department has been trying to catch the tiger for a few weeks in the Rahmankheda neighbourhood of Malihabad, Lucknow, where there have been fresh claims of a sighting. Concerns about wildlife safety have increased among locals as a result of the most recent incident.
