Mother-in-law of Four Daughters-in-law Elopes with 30-Year-Old Lover; Elderly Husband Appeals to CM Yogi for Justice

Hariram Pal has alleged that his wife was lured and taken away by Krishnapal Jha, a 30-year-old man from their village. Hariram claims that his wife Bhagwati suddenly disappeared about two months ago. Initially, he thought she had gone to a relative’s house, but when she didn’t return and all the jewellery belonging to their four daughters-in-law also went missing, he realised something was seriously wrong.

A shocking incident has come to light from Lalitpur district in Uttar Pradesh, leaving everyone stunned. In Sankarwar Kala village, located in the Jakhaura police station area, a mother-in-law of four daughters-in-law ran away from home with her 30-year-old lover. It is also alleged that before leaving, she took her daughters-in-law’s valuable jewellery with her.

No Help from Police, So He Turned to the Chief Minister

When elderly husband Hariram Pal discovered what his wife Bhagwati had done, he was left speechless. He first filed a complaint at the Jakhaura police station, but when he received no assistance, he wrote a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, pleading for justice. Hariram insists that Bhagwati was manipulated by Krishnapal Jha, who convinced her to run away with him. Initially, he believed she had gone to visit relatives, but after several days passed with no word and the family discovered the missing jewellery, the reality began to dawn on him.

Daughters-in-law in Distress

The family has four daughters-in-law, all of whom were devastated to learn that their mother-in-law had eloped with her lover—and taken their jewellery as well. They say that not only are they being publicly shamed, but they have also lost their life savings. One daughter-in-law remarked, “We still can’t believe this has happened.”

She Doesn’t Want to Live with Her Husband

According to the Jakhaura police station in-charge, Bhagwati herself came to the station a few weeks ago. She clearly told the police that she no longer wished to live with her husband or his family. The police stated that since she is an adult and made the decision of her own free will, they could not take any legal action. The station officer said, “She expressed her wishes, so we cannot take any forceful action.”

Elderly Husband Hopes for Justice from the CM

Hariram Pal has now submitted a written request addressed to the Chief Minister at the Superintendent of Police office in Lalitpur, requesting a full investigation and the return of his wife. He emphasised that this is not just about his wife leaving, but also about the theft of valuable jewellery, which he believes is a serious crime that warrants police action. Hariram said, “I am an old man. At this age, I have neither support nor hope. What my wife did has broken our home. The daughters-in-law have returned to their parents’ homes. Our house has been shattered.”
