The United Kingdom is currently hosting two-day visit by the Indian prime minister Narendra Modi. This visit is to improve the bilateral ties of the two nations. Indian Community in London received the Prime Minister very well. Posting on social media site X, PM Modi said, I am overwhelmed at the kind reception I received by the Indian community here in the UK. They care and love the development of India and it is inspiring.”
An agreement in terms of Free Trade Agreement (FTA) is being signed by India and the UK today. This will only facilitate the export of leather, footwear and garments at concessional rates; the imports of UK whisky and cars will be cheaper.

Revanth Reddy and he will give his presentation on the caste survey model of Telangana before the Congress MPs at Indira Bhavan. Reddy is likely to meet the Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi during his visit on a number of matters concerning matters of party as well as governance.
