A plane crashed abruptly in a pond that is situated at the back of KP College in the midst of the city of Prayagraj, which caused panic in the locality. When it was known about the incident, the local population was the first to report to the police and administration. The plane is reported to have been a training plane.

Both crew members are safe

Through the alert, the fire brigade vehicles and rescue teams were at the point. The government has to seal the whole region as a precaution. However, currently, no official report has been given on what exactly caused the crash. The rescue efforts are in progress and the government is keeping a close watch on the situation. The two occupants in the plane are okay.

Probe ordered

This was an aircraft of the Air Force microlight aircraft. The aircraft flew into the pond because of gas engine failure. It is said to have taken some time in the air before dropping in the water. The ship had two crewmen on board, neither of whom, according to the Army, is hurt. An enquiry on the event has been commissioned.

The training plane had been departed Bamrauli Airport at Prayagraj. The plane is capable of carrying two passengers. The Central Air Command has its headquarters in Prayagraj Airport. The location where the crash has occurred is hardly 10 kilometers off the airport. The accident is said to have happened when the aircraft lost balance because of technical malfunction. The Air Force has not come out with any official statement yet.
