Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) chairperson Satbir Bedi has rendered her resignation from the post of chairperson. Her resignation, which was filed a fortnight ago, was accepted on Tuesday and the additional charge of PSEB chairperson has been given to education (secretary) Krishan Kumar Yadav.

Reasons for the resignation of board chairperson are yet to be known.The notification in this regard has been issued by Punjab govt entrusting Yadav as chairperson of board. Bedi, a former IAS officer, who served in Delhi govt, assumed charge in Feb 2023.
