Day after the campaign, Punjab power minister Harbhajan Singh said that the distribution and enforcement wings had checked 28,487 connections and reported 438 cases of theft in the Amritsar zone with a penalty collection of Rs 1.10 crore. They realised Rs 1.41 crore for 527 thefts from Bathinda, Rs 90 lakh for 323 thefts from Ludhiana, Rs 50 lakh for 340 thefts from Jalandhar, and Rs 74 lakh for 447 thefts from Patiala.

The minister claimed that the campaign will minimise power theft and then he invited inputs about power theft from the public and made an appeal all for regularising their electricity connections.
