Recently, Khalistani terror group Sikhs of Justice (SFJ) has sent a death threat to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. One terrorist (Gurpatwant Singh Pannun) had issued a video message that Mann would be targeted during August 15 in Faridkot.
Pannun also attempted to arouse masses on land pooling issue. The same video also made claims that he had put up the slogans of pro-Khalistan in a number of places as well beginning with the Amritsar Bus Stand, Khalsa College, a few temples and at the court premises etc. They could also not be sighted in public places as these slogans.
It can be noted that Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has made threats during national events before. He is an Indian fugitive who remains on the wanted lists of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) over years now. He has more than 36 cases against him in different police stations within the province of Punjab. These involve polices involving arms smuggling and anti-national operations.
