Security forces demolish house of Pahalgam attack terrorist Adil with explosives; Asif’s house bulldozed

Security personnel used explosives to blow up the home of Adil Hussain Thokar, a local terrorist who was involved in the Pahalgam incident. The residence was situated in the Anantnag district’s Gori neighbourhood of Bijbehara. With the assistance of Pakistani terrorists, Adil Thokar, also known as Adil Guri, is charged with organising and carrying out the attack in the Baisaran Valley in Pahalgam on April 22. In the meantime, the Jammu and Kashmir government used a bulldozer to destroy the home of Asif Sheikh, a local terrorist from Tral who was also participating in the attack.

On April 22, four Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists with AK-47 rifles, steel-tipped bullets, and body cams opened fire on Hindu vacationers in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, according to military sources. 26 persons were killed in the incident, the majority of whom were tourists travelling from various Indian states. Two of the terrorists, Asif Sheikh from Tral and Adil Hussain Thokar from Bijbehara, were locals.

Additionally, according to the sources, Adil crossed the Attari-Wagah border into Pakistan lawfully in 2018. He returned to Jammu and Kashmir last year after receiving training at a terror camp during his stay. A handful of the terrorists were speaking Pashto, according to some witnesses to the Pahalgam attack. The sources highlighted that all of the terrorists involved were members of Lashkar-e-Taiba, a terrorist organisation located in Pakistan. Despite claiming responsibility for the attack, officials said that The Resistance Front (TRF) is a front for LeT that is intended to make such acts seem like they were carried out by an indigenous group.

Terrorists had infiltrated much earlier

The terrorists are thought to have entered Jammu and Kashmir well in advance. For unspecified reasons, they decided against carrying out their original attack plan during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s April 19 visit to Katra. Intelligence agency officers were not specifically targeted by the attack, according to sources. Manish Ranjan, a Bihari employee of the Intelligence Bureau stationed in Hyderabad, was one of the victims. He was on vacation with his family when he was murdered.

Terrorists specifically targeted Hindus

The terrorists reportedly brought AK-47s and body cameras to the flowery meadows of Baisaran Valley, also referred to as Maggie Point or Mini Switzerland. They specifically targeted Hindu tourists and asked for their names. Steel bullets, which are renowned for their capacity to penetrate armour, were found at the location. The terrorists mercilessly murdered innocent persons throughout their roughly fifteen minutes of firing. According to military sources, these kinds of attacks are usually carried out in groups of six, which raises the possibility that one or two more terrorists participated in the surveillance. Special forces have been called in and a massive manhunt is under progress.
