According to a defence official, there was a landslip in Sikkim at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, 2025, after days of heavy rain.
There have been three deaths from the crash and four people experienced minor injuries but were safely rescued.
Across the past 24 hours, rescue efforts have been ongoing even as weather conditions were tough, focusing on finding the six missing individuals.
Because of heavy rainfall in Sikkim, there is a higher chance of more landslides.
