Z, Z +, SPG, X, Y, and Y +. These are the six primary security classifications offered to VVIPs in India. In order to perfect the Prime Minister’s security measure, the SPG will spend up to Rs 1.62 crore every day.
The monthly salary of an SPG commando ranges from Rs 84,236 to Rs 2,39,457. According to online media DNA, an SPG security officer makes Rs 13.2 lakh a year. In addition to the three protective vests they wear while on duty, these commandos are entitled to elite security. The Z+ security officials should also be skilled in unarmed combat training and martial arts.
While on duty, the authorities should also maintain a neutral expression. The SPG’s weaponry include the Glock 17 automatic handgun, the FN Herstel F2000 rifle, and the FN P90 machine gun. Applying for SPG employment requires graduation from any accredited educational institution.
