MOHALI: A 19-year-old, heading back home on a motorcycle, died on the spot after a speeding vehicle hit him from behind and fled the scene.
The incident happened near Morinda.
The victim, a resident of Mataur, suffered internal bleeding.
The police have registered a case against the unidentified driver of the speeding vehicle under relevant sections.
They are examining the CCTV footage from the area and gathering eyewitness accounts to identify the culprit.
