Gurdev Singh Sandhu takes charge as Vice Chairman Punjab State Forest Development

Strengthening the administrative structure of the Forest & Wildlife Preservation Department, the Punjab State Forest Development Corporation Limited today got a new Vice Chairman when Gurdev Singh Sandhu assumed charge of the post in the presence of the Forest & Wildlife Preservation Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak at the forest complex in Sector-68.

On the occasion, the Minister said that he is fully confident that the new incumbent would take the department to heights of glory and chalk out such development centric plans for the department which would lead to increasing the forest cover in the State besides undertaking novel initiatives.

The Vice Chairman thanked the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for this opportunity. He assured that his priority would be to start an awareness campaign regarding the dynamic initiatives of the department launched under the stewardship of the Forest Minister. He also stated that he would leave no stone unturned to come true to the trust reposed in him.
