The director of prosecution who allegedly harassed a Scheduled Caste employee on the basis of caste has been held guilty of violating the rules of Haryana Service Rules by Haryana State Commission of Scheduled Caste (HSCSC) chairman Ravinder Baliala. It is alleged that director of prosecution Sanjay Hooda discriminated against a Scheduled Caste employee under him on the basis of caste and called him to his office without proper procedure and threatened and insulted him.
The commission has ordered the additional chief secretary of the home department to initiate departmental proceedings against Hooda. Also, two malicious inquiries and their reports against victim Rohtash were set aside. The commission has also ordered the director general of police to initiate criminal proceedings against the director prosecution under the SC/ST Act.
