There have been claims of a train hijacking by terrorists in Pakistan. According to the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), 450 persons were taken captive when the Jaffer Express was hijacked near Bolan. The BLA has threatened to assassinate every passenger if they are the target of any military attack. Six military soldiers have reportedly been killed thus far.
Pakistani media reported that 450 people were on board the train. Active-duty members of the Pakistani Army, Police, Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF), and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) are among the hostages. These employees were taking a leave of absence to Punjab. The BLA has threatened to kill all captives if any soldiers aboard the train try to take any action.
Women and Children Released
BLA terrorists freed women, children, and Baloch passengers during the operation. This expedition is reportedly being led by Majeed Brigade, the BLA’s suicide force, which also comprises Fateh Squad, STOS, and the intelligence section Zirab.
